hey yea 4sure. first of all great idea with the 1v1 tourney. Hopefully everyone hears about it(although we have more than enough to handle). Armagh is alreayd tyring to make it into a true tourney. We all know 1v1 last 5mins sometimes. So one thing was to make it longer some how.
1. So first suggestion make first to 2 doms or more.
2. Secondary weapons option. Have a normal 1on1 and then follow it up with a secondary weapon(any weapon that is not primary). However, with some classes like demo and spy primary weapons are considered pipes,and revolver. So primary 4 demo would still be stickies. For spy i guess a seperate KNIFE WAR?!
This would make it into two different set of winners though. One winner for NORMAL 1v1. And 1 winner for secondary weapons expert. It would show the versatile skillz of players. And will take an extra few mins only. (I think armagh has his idea of doing melee only etc.) Please put your thoughts on what all of you think about this idea.
3.It is recommended to particpate in many classes as you can. So you give yourself the chance to play vs different players. I think each class everyone will face 3-4 players at most. So 9 classes times 3 diff players means you get to play vs 27 players.
Last: Armagh came up with Pts idea to award 3 pts per dom. And eliminate selective number of players at the bottom.
However, we both thought with 9 classes its too complicated and we need to avoid ties. But for next time if this one is successful Pt system can be used. Armaghs decided to use Elimination method. In case you guys have better ideas with reward pts. Post below.

I like that idea, makes the game longer and more fun... no point having it real short no fun in that  |

First person to dominate the other person once wins.
Otherwise it could go on forever. - If you have two good players it could be last for a while with the first to 1 domination anyways.

going along the melee only idea, how aobut first dom any weapon of choice and second dom melee ?.

But you have to read rules with suggestions. My suggestions were based on rules as well. Yea its true with 2 good players it would last a long time ONLY IF the No Pick Up Health Rule was left OUT. But here no matter how good or bad 2 playerers are somebody will die once they press "medic". After about 2-4hits somebody will die - NO health pick ups. So this thing will end in few mins. So to follow it up with secondary weapon is nice. Also my intention was only to have it in same session for video purposes. I or anyone else wont be able to do that again. Any memories of it will be left off right here right now. Since many are particpating right now. Its just convenient to do everything the 1st time. Also there arnt anymore complications since its just 1vs1. We will track down who got eliminated to move on to next round etc. And tally pts for both normal and secondary 1on1 I assume. Not much to a 1vs1. And most of what i said were just suggestions. I'm only a spectator and thought i will encouage more action that i get to capture.  |

Yeah i just think it would run alot smoother and without hassles if it was first to 1 dom with no health pickups (except up top of containers).
I think it would be fun after this competition to run a Mellee only competition for all the classes aswell.
